Exposure: Exposure: Ha - 96 x 3.5 min (gain-160 1x1), OIII - 96 x 4 min (gain-200 1x1),  RGB - 32 x 1.5 min (gain-101 1x1) each RGB exposures.

Processing: Data Collection -  N.I.N.A. Sequencer (as FITs).  Sub-frame calibration - Pixinsight (WBPP). Sub-frame  registration and integration (Average combine -  Winsorized sigma clipping) - PixInsight (WBPP).  2x Drizzle of Ha and OIII - PixInsight (WBPP).  Noise reduction - NoiseXTerminator - PixInsight. Non-linear stretching, normalization and gradient removal - PixInsight. Photometric RGB calibration (SPCC) - PixInsight. Deconvolution of Ha, OIII, and RGB stacks - BlurXTerminator. Generation of starless nebulosity Ha, OIII , and RGB images for later processing - Star XTerminator.  Curves, Levels, RGB combine - PixInsight.  RGB Stars and starless  combine - PixInsight.   Final finishing  - Affinity Photo.   Annotation - PixInsight, Aladin (Simbad ), and Affinity Photo. This image is a  modified HOO Narrow Band starless composition - with RGB stars added.  Image processed at 8352x12496 resolution. Final Image size is approximately  8020x5360.

North is down in this image (180 degree rotation).  Central in the image is the blue OIII emission line structure of SNR G082.2+05.3 - also known as Westerhout 63 (W 63) and CTB 88. The appearance is that of a "Blue Flame"  among the Red Ha emission so characteristic of the Cygnus region. The distance of this SNR has been somewhat elusive with studies indicating anywhere from 3,000 light years to 12,000 light years. The longer distances are favored in the more current studies .

This is a busy field aside from the main attraction of the SNR. Dark nebulae Barn 345, LDN 908, and 910. Bright Nebulae LBN  298, 301, 303, 314, 325, and 326. And of course the Cyg-X region DWB catalog has many objects in this field - DWB 133, 136, 138, 143, 145, 147, 148, 149, 153, 154, 156, 165, 167, and 168.

These objects and some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image Vertical FOV is approximately 2.52 degrees. Full size image scale is about 1.125 arcsec/pix.

Image center is approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 20h 19m 21s Dec: +45°29'49"
