NGC896 in Cassiopeia

Scope: ST80 f/2.5 Location: Tierra Del Sol CA 12/30/2002 Camera: Vesta 690 Exposure: 5 x 240 sec and 10x 60 sec color frames with IR block filter This image is a combination of exposures with the shorter exposure used to reduce bloating of the brighter stars There was some noticeable coma in the lower corners. I am not sure of the cause other than perhaps less than optimum focus made worse at the edges. This particular night I was with a friend and we were literally chased inside by a very heavy dew. The image was taken just as condensation was starting to form on the objective - even with the dew heater at full tilt. Horizontal FOV is 72'
