Scope: StarMax127 f/4.8 Location: Del Mar CA  1/25/2003 Camera: Vesta 690

Exposure: 16 x 120 sec color frames with IR filter and Sky Glo Filter

This image was made with an IR filter and a SkyGlo filter. I find this filter set gives about 40% total light transmission. For this reason, it takes more exposure. It does yield more dynamic range since it does reduce background signal. I think the result on the image is sharper stars with better contrast.  Horizontal FOV is 20'
