Scope: C8 f/5 Location: Blair Valley - Anza Borrego Desert, CA 12/21/2003 Camera: ToUcam SC3
Exposure: 12 x 72 sec Luminance with IR Block filter, 10 x 30 sec RGB color exposures
Processing: Images were captured and aligned in K3CCDTools and saved as FITS. Luminance and Color master frames were co-registered in Astroart with some low pass filtering. Luminance and Color FITS were combined in Photoshop with Luminance Layering. Loreal and SGBNR were used for image enhancement after the color combine. Final touches in Photoshop.
This image was taken the same night as the Christmas Tree (NGC2264) and M74. At first view of the raw frames coming in, I thought this image would be pretty uninteresting. However, some interesting structure came out in the processing, so I kept it. Approximate total horizontal FOV is 16'
