Scope: Celestron 9.25 Edge 235 mm at f/7, Location: DAA Observatory, Shelter Valley CA,  4 September 2018  Camera: ST8300M (Baader LRGB filters)

Exposure: Exposure:  16 x 12 min (2x2 bin) exposure with IR/UV Block filter, 10 x 4 min (2x2 bin) RGB exposures.

Processing: Data Collection -  Sequence Generator Pro (as FITs).  Calibrated, stacked (Kappa Sigma Combine) - Deep Sky Stacker. LRGB channel registration, equalization, gradient removal - Astroart.  Curves, Levels, RGB combine - ImagesPlus. Luminance Layering, final stretch, and finishing  - Photoshop.  RGB calibration - eXcalibrator. This image is a  RGB combine with Luminance layering.  Color saturation in LAB color.  The IR/UV Blocking filter exposure stack was used for the luminance layer.  Images processed at 3352 x 2532 resolution. Final Image size is approximately  2800 x 2100.

North is up in this image.  This image features a trio of NGC galaxies that are likely interacting - NGC 7463, 7464, 7465. These galaxies are central in this image. The face-on galaxy, NGC 7465, has an interesting classification - (R')SB0^0?(s) - barely detectable outer pseudo-ring barred spiral. Outlying this galaxy trio grouping is UGC  12313  - an edge on galaxy that lies about the same distance as the NGC trio. Also, galaxy UGC 12321 may be related in that it has a similar distance (by redshift estimate) as the other galaxies, however, this galaxy has a widely discrepant redshift independent distance estimate. Finally, there are several background galaxies with distance estimates around the 1 billion light year distance.  These galaxies  are identified in the annotated image..  There are also a number of background galaxies in this field not identified in the annotation.    Horizontal FOV is approximately 38 arc minutes (0.81 arcsec/pix image scale on the full size image).

Image center is located approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 23h 02m 00s Dec: +15°58'00"
