Camera: Atik 383L (Astronomik Gen 2 LRGB Filters) Exposure:
Exposure: 16 x 10 min (2x2 bin) exposure with IR/UV Block filter, 7 x 4 min
(2x2 bin) RGB exposures. Processing: Data
Collection - Sequence Generator Pro (as FITs). Exposure calibration,
LRGB registration, and stacking (Median combine - Winsorized Sigma
Clipping) - PixInsight. LRGB channel registration,
equalization and gradient removal - PixInsight. Curves, Levels, RGB
combine, Luminance layering - PixInsight. Final finishing -
Photoshop. RGB calibration - eXcalibrator. This image is a RGB combine
with Luminance layering. Images processed at 3352 x 2532 resolution. Final Image size is approximately
2800 x 2100. North is up in this image. This
region of the sky is dominated by dark nebulae, molecular clouds and dense
cores. Additionally, the are a few background galaxies. The prominent catalog
item in this image is the molecular cloud MBM 56 (Magnani+Blitz+Mundy catalog).
There are six objects from the PGCC catalog (Planck Catalogue of Galactic
Cold Clumps). A few background galaxies are seen in this image - none have any
studied distance estimates. These objects and some bright stars are identified in the
annotated
image.. There are also a number of background galaxies in this field
not identified in the annotation. Horizontal FOV is
approximately 88 arc minutes (1.88 arcsec/pix image scale on the full size
image). Image center is located approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 23h 26m 42.26s Dec: +33°23'41.20"
