Camera: Atik 383 (Astronomik Gen II LRGB
filters) Exposure:
Exposure: 16 x 10 min
(1x1 bin) exposure with IR/UV Block filter, 8 x 4 min (2x2 bin) RGB exposures. Processing: Data
Collection - Sequence Generator Pro (as FITs). Calibrated, stacked
(Kappa Sigma Combine) - Deep Sky Stacker. LRGB channel registration,
equalization, and gradient removal - Astroart. Curves, Levels, RGB
combine - ImagesPlus. Luminance Layering, final stretch, and finishing -
Photoshop. RGB calibration - eXcalibrator. This image is a RGB combine
with Luminance layering. Color saturation in LAB color. The IR/UV Blocking filter exposure stack
was used for the
luminance layer. Images processed at 3352 x 2532 resolution. Final Image size is approximately
2600 x 1950. North is up in this image. The
main target in this image is the open cluster IC 1369 (also cataloged Collinder
432) located upper left. There are numerous dark nebulae structures in
this field from multiple catalogs - LDN 070 / Barnard 361; LDN 960; LDN 961; LDN
964 / Dobashi 2814; LDN 967; LDN975; Dobashi 2823/2824.
Also in this field are planetary nebulae Sharpless 1-89 (from the first catalog
in 1953) and the tine bright NGC 7026. These objects and selected
bright stars are identified in the annotated
image.. Open Cluster IC 1369 is estimated at 6,800 light years distant from
Earth and an estimated age of 437 million years.
Horizontal FOV is approximately 85' - ifull size mage
scale of 1.96 arcsec/pixel. Image center is located approximately - Equatorial 2000: RA: 21h 10m 30s Dec: +47°41'32"
